 Exercise 1: Warming up playing and receiving

Purpose

​Warming up as preparation of the training, practicing basic techniques and stick handling

Organisation
* two players opposite to each other
* two goalies or a goalie and player together

 Exercise
* play the ball to each other ​

Variation 1

1. player A plays the ball to player
2. player B receives the ball and makes a 180 degree turn
3. player B plays against the sideboard, receives back, turns and plays the ball to player A
*player B can also make a double turn (see video)

Variation 2
* receive the ball with the low backhand and bounce the ball to the forehand

Instructions

Big turn
* ball in the hook of the stick
* big turn around the stick of the opponent

Backhand reception and bounce to the forehand
* turn the stick forward, so that the flat side is under
* stick in the left hand
* lay the stick low in front on the left side with the left arm stretched and the stick
* receive the ball on the shaft of the stick and bounce in one movement towards the forehand
