This guy was sold a fake OSAKA stick by an unauthorised source! Watch out for copycats and pirates!

On his Youtube Channel, A Shaffer said the following about his OSAKA stick: “I bought this stick late last year and only got 3 practices out of it when I noticed the broken piece at the heat of the stick. When I contacted Osaka Hockey, after sending them pictures of the stick – they told me that what I had was fake stick.”

“I hope this is a warning to anybody thinking of buying such a stick from an unauthorized or unknown source. I cannot comment on the performance of a real Osaka stick. However, I did end up repairing my “imposter” Osaka stick and it has performed quite well, to the point that it has now become my main stick for the past few months. I have also spray painted over the Osaka logo so as not to create any confusion.”
