Roelant Oltmans: A 3D drill for kids and adults!:

Roelant Oltmans, one of the best coaches in the world, shows us this drill that was uploaded on Edwin Wiesehahn’s Youtube Channel. This drill is good to be used with kids and adults and is basically setting up a cross on the ground for the player lift the ball around. 


Roelant Oltmans was born in the Netherlands. Most recently he was the high performance director of the India men’s hockey team. Prior to that he coached the men’s team of Larensche Mixed Hockey Club and the Netherlands National Team.  

Roelant Oltmans’ career has several successes: he was able to win the FIH World Cup in Sydney in 1990 with the Dutch women’s team, where he was the coach from 1989 to 1993. In 1993 he became the Dutch men’s team winning the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

With the Men’s national team he won the 1998 World Cup in Utrecht and after that he moved to coach football until 2002 at the NAC Breda Club. After his football venture he coached the national team of Pakistan at the Olympic Games in Athens and had this coaching job until the end of 2004. In 2005 he became the Dutch national coach once again until the Olympic Games of 2004 where the team finished in the 4th place.
