3. Another correct defensive 1v2 approach:

In this case,the first defender is putting pressure on the attacker but, he is coming from behind. This pressure makes the Dutch player put all his focus on the ball ignoring the action of the 2nd Argentinean defender. When the Argentinean defender sees the possibility, he attacks and steals the ball away.

The player who is chasing from behind does a great job indeed avoiding the foul and leading the opponent to a 1v2 situation. In conclusion, when there is the chance of leading an attacker to a situation of numerical inferiority where he lacks of space and time, most of the time will be a ball that is recovered.
