Goalkeeping angles: Covering the back pass and shot

This is a very good defensive action by the goalkeeper of KHC Dragons. The goalkeeper covered the post and tried to intercept the back pass as the opponent dribbled the ball all the way down the line from the left side. The goalie did two things in the first action: covering the narrow angle of shot and trying to intercept the back pass by extending his right arm.

When the pass back was sent, he quickly moved to the centre of the goal in order to prevent the straight shot. He was successful to do this.
