Recovering the ball: the 1 v 2 situation

Take a look at this action where the Australian player is in possession of the ball. She receives the pressure of an Argentine player that by jabbing and “attacking” the ball, she forces the Hockeyroo to keep her head down and eyes on the ball. The Argentine keeps the pressure just to force a mistake by the Australia who releases the ball and gets recovered by a 2nd opponent.

In this case, the first player was there for force pressure on the Australian while a 2nd defender recovers the possession.
