Meet Jason McCracken, the new CEO of the International Hockey Federation

During the Olympic Games of Rio 2016, McCracken worked as the Technical Delegate. In addition to that participation, he was the Tournament Director of the 2014 Men’s Hockey World Cup in The Hague, Netherlands. In his native country of New Zealand, he had an active role in the development of hockey and served as a board member.

FIH President Leandro Negre said that he is delighted to confirm McCracken as the new CEO as he has a vast hockey knowledge and an extensive business background. He is confident that Jason McCracken will continue pushing the Hockey Revolution and cause a positive impact in global hockey.

McCracken believes that the combination of his commercial skills with his passion for hockey, will make him succeed in this new role. He also added: “As hockey’s new CEO, I will be leading by example as we aim to make hockey a global game that inspires the next generation.”
