How big is too big for the gloves on the PC defenders? Are ice-hockey gloves representing some sort of defensive advantage?





Don’t get me wrong, I am not against players’ safety but, just as a matter of question, are the ice-hockey gloves a bit too big? Are defenders and teams trying to take a minimum advantage?

 

Let’s take a look at some of these images from the recently finished Odisha World League Finals.

Some teams only put these gloves on the post defenders but some others did it with the 4 field players:

Safety is a must, specially at the speed that a penaly corner is executed, however these ice-hockey gloves seem to be a bit too big to me, what do you think? Leave your comment below!
