Favourite Players: Kwan Browne

Kwan Browne is the pride of Trinidad & Tobago. He is one of the best players in the UK and one of the most outstanding hockey talents that were ever produced in the Caribbean. Currently he is playing and coaching at Canterbury Hockey Club in England (Premier League).

 

He participated in more than 286 International Caps with participations at the Olympic Qualifier of 2011 in Mexico, the 2007 Brazil where he was selected as the MVP, the 2003 Santo Domingo where he became the top goal scorer. In addition to his outdoor experience, he is a fantastic indoor player and he lead the T&T team during the Indoor World Cup 2007 in Austria. He was awarded Trinidad and Tobago Hockey player of the Year in 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2010. He was the captain of his national team for 15 years. During this period the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee named him the Sports Personality of the Year (2007).
