Training offensive receiving skills with change of direction: Avoiding the opponent’s tackle

In this drill by Deltalent, we can practice our offensive receiving skills by allowing the ball to roll in front of our feet. The trick here is to change the direction of the ball while shifting the body in order to avoid the opponent’s tackle. Rather than stopping the ball and reinitiating the movement, we need to continue with the flow of the pass.
