This drill can be used at early stages of the player’s development but also with more advanced players as part of their conditioning training. This drill was shared by our friend Alberto Ruiz Castillo, coach of the Spanish club Real Club de Polo (follow him on Twitter: @Albertiken_Ruiz)
The drill starts with a first player runs to collect one ball at a time and dribbles it back to his teammate who is waiting on the first cone. The second player will have to do the opposite and will have to return each ball back to it’s original place.
Run this drill as a competition and make sure that the players leave the ball on the correct spot one at a time.
