Scoring: A very little technical detail that can make a huge difference!

Take a look at this short clip of a training session with the Kookaburras. It looks like a normal pass and shooting drill but, check the attitude of the player off the ball inside the circle. The player that is not shooting, instead of just looking is getting his stick ready for a potential deflection. He does this on the moment that he sees his partner getting to swing at the ball and not after.

Doing this does not mean that the shot will become a pass to deflection but, he is still ready just in case it happens. This might be a little detail but, it can make a difference in putting your chances inside the goal.
