Playing hockey in the streets of Rio! The Brazilian Hockey Team and the Olympic dream

In the shadow of soccer, hockey is trying to get some exposure in Brazil after the qualification of their National team during the last Panam Games in which the south americans ranked 4th of the competition beating USA in quarter-final and pushing Canada to a thrilling shoot out session for the Bronze Medal.

Over the last couple of years Brazilian players have committed full time to the program with the Olympic Games as only target… They will be willing to perform at their best in front of their own crowd although their task won’t be easy probably due to a big gap between the top nations and the emergence of Brazil in the Hockey world…
