Penalty corner or penalty stroke?

UMPIRE-stroke-or-corner
Let’s analyse to obstructions or situations where the attacker’s swing gets cut off. The umpire’s call have been different and the questions is: penalty corner or penalty stroke?

Case #1: Argentina against Germany
Hauke (GER) in his attempt to steal the ball from Vila (ARG), gets in between the stick and the ball. The Argentinean attacker cannot complete his shot because the swing gets interrupted by the defender’s body.

Case #2: Argentina against Canada

In this case, the swing of the Argentinean attacker also gets disrupted but by the intervention of the stick of the Canadian defender. The Canadian defender does not seem to have any other intention than to disrupt the opponent’s swing. There was a referral on this play that helped the umpire to decide on the call.
