Luciana Aymar’s passion for hockey was reflected in her tears

This is one of the most heartbreaking moments for the, perhaps, best female player in history. This emotional press conference happened during the 2014 World Cup after Argentina lost the semifinals. Luciana Aymar passion and love for competition is reflected in this historical moment. Luciana Aymar played the world cup nursing different injuries…

“I feel pain, sadness, anger… As a player you prepare yourself to play and I am upset that my current condition is not 100% and I cannot give everything to my teammates. I am upset that I cannot enjoy the World Cup to the fullest but at least I was able to play for many years with Argentina and I will enjoy this last game trying to win a medal… I tried doing my best to play this World Cup and I was only able to play two games which produces me a lot of sadness but I am glad to be on the last game (for the 3rd place). “
