You will not believe this amazing goal by the Indiana Field Hockey team!

Just simply watch the video… During the 2013 season, the Indiana Field Hockey team was facing Saint Louis. Karen Lorite, the scorer of this beautiful goal, received a perfect through-pass that left her alone against the goalkeeper. She picked up the ball by lifting it and gave it a touch while it was in the air. The goalie never expected that the ball would go above her…

The Indiana Field Hockey team ended up wining the game by 11-0. The Indiana field hockey team is a college team from the NCAA Division I in the United States that competes in the Big Ten Conference since the year 2000, when the program started.




The home ground of the Indiana Field Hockey program is the IU Field Hockey Complex which opened in August 2007 and has a seating capacity of 500. Almost two years after the initial construction, the Ireland Family Fieldhouse was created which is the building that features the team’s locker room and the staff meeting room.

 The current squad (2015) counts with 4 foreign players that come from Germany, Spain and Canada. The coach is Amanda Janney, a well experience U.S. coach with more than 10 of experience coaching college hockey. She joined the Indiana Field Hockey team in 2015 after coaching at the Temple University where she worked for 10 years.
