How to make a stronger reverse block tackle?

We’re going to show you two perfect examples of reverse block tackles which demonstrate how important is to place the left hand really low, sometimes touching the ground when we want to make a reverse a flat tackle.

These two examples show players that are lowering the hand parallel to the pitch but they’re also moving their body down in order to have a longer reach.

In this first video we see that the white player’s reach is so good that he ends up tackling the ball with his grip:
