How good are you at defending? This drill will help you to improve your footwork!

This coaching video will show you how young kids can improve their footwork when defending. Having body stability and balance is a very important aspect of the individual defense and coaches should put a look of attention to how players move and change direction. One of the most important parts of this video, is to have the ability of moving backwards while shifting the leading foot in relation to the attacker’s movement.

In this sense, you will also see that the player must change the stick side while remaining in line with the ball. This video is indeed a very important one and it will help you understand what to coach when teaching young players to tackle the ball.
