3D Elimination Skills: Lifting the ball over the opponent’s stick

This elimination skill presented by  Southern Fried Hockey, shows how to lift the ball and accelerate in order to eliminate an opponent that comes at you with a block tackle. These are the main points to consider:

1. The attacker must not carry the ball in a straight line.
2. The ball must be lifted by changing the direction of it and by making a short weight transfer.
3. There must be a decrease of speed when approaching the defender followed by an acceleration when we decide to lift the ball.
4. The stick needs to move quick at the moment of jumping with the ball to avoid giving away the element of surprise.
